Assessing the talent: Is listed by both of the major recruiting services at a top ten player. Rivals has him as the best player in all the land. He is a sick athlete. Caught over a 1,000 yards receiving, over 500 rushing and scored almost three dozen touchdowns. On defense he nabbed ten picks. He plans on waiting until he gets all his offers. He plans on camping this spring down south.

Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 0% Huskers have basically decided to throw their hat into the ring. We’ll have to see who rises to the top after Harvin sifts threw all the info. Phil Elmassian is recruiting Harvin and his teammate Damon McDaniel.

This guy is ranked near the top of all the preseason recruiting rankings. Everyone's got him near the top. He's a very similar player to WIlliams this year out of Maryland. I think he went to Penn. ST.

With Percy given the top ranking in any position, does Nebraska have a shot at him. I also see there are a couple players with stars from Rivals....when does the top 100 come out???

Hey let me tell you guys something...If you get Rivals, look at some of the video on this guy.....unbelievable. His high school coach is doing exactely what I would do and that's get him the ball any chance you get. Most of his receptions are on bubble screens, bang passes, quick hitches, or outs. The D has to lay off him or else he goes deep. I read somewhere he had 475 total yards in the Championship game.

It's like a video game

StuckinChicago..do we have a chance at this kid or is he sticking to the East Coast??

He's playing it close to the vest right now, but I havent heard him mention Nebraska once, and the fact that he plans to camp in the south does not bode well for nebraska. I would say that the chances of getting him are slim at best, say somewhere in the 2-5% range, but with this staff, you never know. I think that our only chance is if we can get him to visit, and he hasnt set a date for us yet, and with that many schools calling, he might be tough to convince. I do have confidence in our game day atmosphere if we can get him here though. Phil better get off of his keister and get this kid to visit. We could use an instant big play receiver like him.

Florida landed this guy today.

Supposedly their is some REALLY shady behind the stuff in how Urban Meyer landed this guy.

Wouldn't bet against the way Meyer is recruiting to catch up with him sooner than later.

Nah, nothing like from what I read.
More along the lines of negative recruiting to the extreme.
You're right about it catching up to him if he's doing it. The SEC has gotten really big on cracking down on that. With Fulmer's actions against Alabama, it kind of opened the door for other coaches to complain.
