Assessing the talent: Caught 30 passes for over 500 yards as a junior. His large frame will stick out to you. While he doesn’t have blazing speed, he runs precise patterns and can catch the ball.

Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 5% While he has some interest in the Florida schools none have offered. Callahan loves the big receivers and this is one he likes. He likes the Huskers right now, but as his senior season goes on it will be interesting to see if he feels the same way after a few more teams offer him. He does have the Huskers on top of his list right now.

Donald Bowens had originally setup a visit to come to Nebraska during the OU game with teammate Colin McCarthy, but both players cancelled the visit. The coaches tried to get ahold of him to reschedule, but he seems to have given them the run around. He is still high on Florida St, and i believe that's the reason he cancelled his original visit. He was hoping a FSU offer would come by now, but FSU has yet to offer him and are not recruiting him as hard as other programs at the moment.

Bowens might be feeling the backlash of cancelling his visit because the coaches have backed off on his recruitment to an extent. Bowens is hoping to be here during the Kansas St game, but the way he toyed with the coaches and cancelled a visit without any reason, the coaches might decide to look at other prospects who wont back out of verbal if another school comes calling.

My opinion is that if the coaches don't get who they want from their wish list, they may pick up his recruitment again sometime in December, but at the time being, he isn't hearing much from the NU coaches.
