oh yeah this guy kicks a$$ on the line of scrimmage. if you would have to bet money on who would make an immediate impact this would be a pretty safe bet.

 
Here's the things about a guy like Carl Nicks, he's not in Lincoln right now involved in the program because he can't.

But will he be one of those guys that is working out as one can on their own, or does he feel he either doesn't need to as much or just can't without proper motivation around, thus coming in needing a month to get in shape and missing valuable instruction time on the offense because he's so damn out of shape....this is a huge problem with JUCO's

 
Seems the D-line is having an awful hard time with Carl Nicks...he came into camp with a purpose and not over weight.

Man, is that something we need to hear! To me, this whole season is going to hinge on the offensive line. Yeah, safety is a concern, but with the front seven we have on defense, not nearly the concern level of the offensive line. This guy just seems to have some of the makings of Husker linemen of old.
