Assessing the talent: Very consistent performer. Weight is an issue for now, but plenty of time for that. Has over 500 yards receiving and 15 touchdowns the past two years.

Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 15% Coach Elmo and Watson did a magnificent job recruiting him.

Seems like a similar TE prospect as Mike McNeil this past season. Hopefully he can come in and be a stud.

 
According to Rivals, Harris will now take visits. I suppose that makes him a soft verbal now. I hope that we stay better in touch with our recruits this year. It really bothers me when these guys waiver. I wish they wouldn't commit unless they were solid. Hope we can keep 'em.

 
You are always going to lose about four, especially the type of players we are targeting. Some of these kids commit way too early, and just don't realize what they are doing. We are always going to have some soft commitments. This is one of the risk of early commitments. Kids who commit in November or December don't have as much time to change their minds.

 
We always will the need for soild TE's. That position grew the past couple of years in the NFL after Antonio Gates went off.
