Vegas doesn't take any "weeks off." Like I've posted, the line is the line that will get the most action on both sides, and the majority of the action is that of betting sharps who will go to great lengths to find any edge, statistical or otherwise in the matchup. This is the reason that the lines are usually a very good indicator of the best possible handicap we have of a matchup.

This is shooting fish in a barrel. Road game? Night game? Mobile QB? Ranked opponent? Ranked opponent higher than Nebraska's rank? 3 points?

Vegas is definitely taking the week off on this one. I don't bet on Nebraska games. Maybe some should.
Every time I think Vegas is crazy and there's no way Nebraska will cover the spread, they somehow pull it out. Vegas isn't taking the week off, they just know the match-up better than we do. That spread is a great sign for Nebraska. I bet on OSU with the hope that my betting history repeats itself.
Welp....if I am not mistaken....Ohio St. hasn't covered the spread AT ALL this year. I've bet them a few times and have been disappointed royally.

Not commenting on my own opinion, but the sports betting market has bet this game down to OSU -3. That means the market believes that Nebraska is a better team on a neutral field, since most gamblers assume at least a 4 point home field advantage for a major college football team.

This one's all gonna come down to whats in here (points to chest). Looks to me like this: OSU is going to be about 10 points better at home against our D than last week on the road against MSU who's defense is actually better. OSU: 27 Nebraska is capable of scoring at least 12 points more than MSU did due to a much more capable and higher ranked offense: NU: 28.

Really hope you're right. I'll even take a 27-28 loss. If we lose a close one, I imagine we'll come out of it feeling like we were the better team. It'll keep them momentum going and the fan base somewhat sane.

Tidbit you might like.

With the exception of UAB (Who threw for only 179 yds). Miami (OH), Cal, UCF, and Michigan St. have throw for over 200 yds against Ohio St. Miami (OH) threw for over 300 yds against Ohio St.

If Ohio St doesn't have the best game of their lives.....NEB WILL throw and pass on them. NEB will move the chains and put up points. Trust me.

I dont see Ohio State being as good as a lot of you think they are. We stop Miller we win, we bang him up we win hell if we dont turn the ball over we win. Our offense is better then theirs and our Ds are about the same

Maher, don't fail us now...

This game will be all about field position and cheap points.
Hoping those two late kicks vs. Wisky gave him some more confidence. Nobody's talking about him, but his right leg could be the difference between us winning and losing.

...and IMO, was the difference between winning and losing the UCLA game.
