Stafford Bo Exchange

I saw some F bombs for sure, but do not know in what context they were said or what prompted the exchange.

If Bo was a complete a$$ who has lost the respect of the team we would be 4-6. Look at NU 2007. That was a team that had enough of a coaches crap. Also look at the Bell situation. Guy gets into it with Bo, kicked off the team for violations of team rules AND IIRC Bo steps in to make sure he keeps his schollie so he can graduate and get his degree.

Bo is a lightning rod for the media guys ever since 2010. I am sure this stuff happens on the majority of teams. It just is not shown as cameras are not actually assigned to watch the coach unless it is Bo.
Well just think...we could very easily have 3 more loses. I get your point and I think bo is probably an overall good dude. I think he wants to do the right thing. However, you can't compare this to normal teams. Normal teams don't call three defensive timeouts in one half. Normal teams don't often land at the top of the list for turnovers and penalty's(in the country). Add the personnel issues and player exchanges and I'm saying something is wrong. I've never said I wanted bo gone, but, I hate the way he has our team looking..both on the football field and on the sidelines.

I mentioned this same thing a few weeks ago after the Northwestern game when Antonio Bell got into it with Pelini. All the delusional fans said Pelini had the moral high ground and Bell was worthless, never contributed and blah, blah, blah. We saw it a few years ago at Texas A&M with Martinez. Now today it happens again with Stafford and it was even uglier. I guarantee you many players on this team have no love or respect for Pelini.

There is a cancer forming on this football program and it's Bo Pelini. You can ignore it, pretend it's all the players fault, or say it was the heat of the moment, but it's not working with this team. NU has been extremely fortunate over the last three weeks, that it's masked the problems we have internally. If we had lost all of the games over the last three weeks, we'd be discussing Pelini's buyout, and most of you know it's the truth.
It was just a matter of time. :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh :ahhhhhhhh

.........eventually luck runs out.

Or eventually it's proven as something other than luck.
I hope you are right. However the lack of discipline as evidenced in turnovers and penalties throughout the Pelini era likely point in a different direction. Couple that with multiple sideline incidents and I'd say I'm heading in the right direction.
There's no way to prove that turnovers and penalties is immediately attributed to a lack of discipline. Those things can be realistically and hypothetically attributed to a number of different things. But time will tell.
What would some of those things be?

Oh I've seen it several times and stafford drops the f-bomb a few times and to me it looked like he was telling Bo to personally f-off. On the replay in the game recap the actually blurred Stafford's mouth
You know f*** and fault look the same when you enunciate. You seriously think a coach is going to send a guy out there after he tells him to F off?

Time has already told the story. We accumulate more penalties and yardage than our opponents 68% of the time in the pelini era. We average two more penalties a game than our opponents in the pelini era. we have one of the worst turnover margins in the nation. Why? Is it just dumb luck (bad luck)? Do you think we are going to return to prominence by turning the ball over and accumulating penalties at a breakneck pace?

These things happen EVERY SATURDAY on MANY MANY teams. Tuberville hit the headphones off an assistant today.. i don't even want to think what these boards would degenerate to if Bo did that.

So, last week we complain about the OC that has us in the top 10 on most offensive stats, this week a sideline skirmish ruins this win for many fans. Maybe we should just fire Bo and bring Tom back? Is that the only way to make you happy?

(There are issues to discuss about this game, but the sideline skirmish is the most ridiculous one).

I agree that we are the dumbest 8-2 team in the country. I honestly have no idea why we basically lead the nation in TO's, penalties and seem to have fundamental break downs in all phases of the game ie tackles, lining up, too many men on the field, the fumbles, penalties etc..... Unsure if it is Bo's antics, other coaches have similar issues, inexperienced staff or what, but we do have serious issues. Unsure the root cause.

I really feel that the only team that can beat us is ourselves.

Just to get this straight, if we win out and prior to bowl are 11-2 (which is a very real possibility at this point), this year was a failure because we didn't dominate in every win and Bo didn't satisfy an unreal expectation on sideline demeanor?

I'm no lip reader like a lot of Husker fans seem to be for part-time work, so I really have no idea what's definitively being said here.

Even more importantly, I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE CONTEXT IS.

Therefore, it's entirely a non-issue.
LOUD NOISES!!

I don't think that is what any of us are saying. I'd love an 11-2 season. However I am not going to let that mask what we know is a problem, and that is discipline. Continuing with the status quo will not get us to the next level, luck will run out.

I'm not sure to be honest. It's kind of like I said to my dad the last couple weeks. When we win it still feels like we've lost in some of these games. Not trying to be difficult or unrealistic...although I'm sure it seems that way to some.

I don't see the connection between Bo's behavior and the teams undisciplined nature. It is bizarre to say the least.. clearly this team holds itself accountable for the mistakes: just look at Eric Martin's reaction after getting that boneheaded facemask penalty. They are all trying to play well for each other, but I do agree that week after week shows it is a problem. I really don't now how you fix something like putting Marlowe in because he has always been your sure hand at fielding punts and watch him drop one (I find it hard to believe that the shoulder issues caused the drop).

It's your fault man and you f------ know it. That's my lip reading skills. Bo was telling Pap what to call again this game correct?
