WR James Clark [Ohio State - Signed NLI]

Was hopeful that the "good news" for today's big commit was Mr. Clark. Oh well, yep, we want him more then anyone else and have proved it. I feel good about what we have done in our recruitment of him.
Peyton Newell in 2014 is hinting at a decision that, if true, would point to him picking us. That would be HUGE for out DL going forward.

Sounds like we are out, his coach said he is considering northwestern, Clemson, Ohio st and Florida and that he is not looking and nebraska or Purdue anymore that he is aware of...always good to get lumped in with Purdue!

Article on him posted 5 hrs ago on the Ohio st 247 site, those are as direct quotes as I can give its premium, I was really surprised to see it as well, they also changed his interest in us to none

Some rumors going around that he might not visit Florida or OSU if that's the case it's a Clemson NU battle I would have to assume. Either way i see Clemson winning this one.
I know it doesn't help you guys but...

The New Smyrna Beach receiver told me he will know Wednesday whether he visits Florida or Ohio State this weekend for his last official. Nothing has been scheduled as of tonight.
Clark said it's possible he could visit one of the two schools on Feb. 1. He added that if the Gators don't receive an official, it doesn't hurt Florida's chances because he's visited UF five times already.

Just saw the acticle Amac is talking about, its his coach saying this and he says "that im aware of" after he says Nebraska is not in it..... so its not 100%. I still question it a little but it seems legit. I guess his visit here must have really blown him away ....far far away. Not a very good day today, Williams, Willis, and now Clark.

I am dropping hope on this one. Bummer when Nebraska is in on a guy early and his offer list blows up after we make contact. Lets just continue this offensive explosion next season and more kids like this will be possible to land.

Not happy, really wanted this recruit.

I would think so as well, im still very skeptical of what his coach said in the article. Well find out what he says after the in home tonight. Maybe the coach is a bit biased.
