Athlon sports ranks the Big Ten coaches so you don't have to.

Just for the record. I wasnt serious. And no, I do not actually think this. Although the possibility does cross my mind from time to time. It's that idea that frequently wakes me up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night.

I thought that we weren't allowed to compare Bo to Tom? Or is it that we're not allowed to compare Bo to Tom if it makes Bo look bad?
We're not, per the #9whiners.
That doesn't make sense.
Sure it does. Anytime someone brings up TO winning 9+ games and how long it took him to win a conference title outright, the Bo-leavers tell us you can't compare Bo to TO.
I guess we'll see in a couple years then, eh? Or will you have a new excuse for Bo by then?

We will see, but I fail to see any excuses in this series of quoted posts.

obviously you can not compare bo to TO. sure, TO won 9+ games and conference champs. but it was so easy back then. really, adjusted for football inflation, bo is outperforming TO and it is not even close.

Did you just change sides?

A lot of what I have read in this thread has led me to ask a very serious question. Why is Urban #1? What's so great about him? What has he done that's so special? Didnt he just do at Florida what FLORIDA is supposed to do? Isnt he just doing at Ohio St what OHIO ST is supposed to do?
Follow up question: Why isn't Bo doing what NEBRASKA is supposed to do?
Who's to say he isnt? In this era of college football, how do we know this is all Nebraska is supposed to do?
This ain't Minnesota. We sh#t standing up here.
Not me, I eat a steak and s#!t a roast.....
I like the cut of your jib.

I wonder where Pelini would have been ranked in the B1G after 2009.
Probably fairly high. Hoke was ranked, I think, 2nd by Athlon last year. Opinions can change with additional information, especially in ever-changing rankings such as these.

The last couple seasons have definitely made me change my opinion of Hoke. I'd have no problem flip-flopping him and Pelini on this list.

I think Hoke gets a bad rap. I mean, Michigan fans should realize that it's not 1997 anymore and they aren't one of the few teams on television every week. Besides Hoke just needs more time, if they fired him they'd just be in another Rich Rodriguez situation.

#entitled.
