I know that a lot of times you have to weed through snarky, sarcastic posts once in a while but he has made several good points about this program and where it is in year 7 under Pelini. I don't find him annoying in the slightest anymore, but that's probably because I don't see any of his drivel unless others quote him.

Usually, I only watch the NFL if I notice there's a past Husker playing on one of the teams, but lately...I've been watching the two local teams (ASU and the Cardinals)...Only because they're both 8-1..

Normally, I find myself very slightly pulling for both teams just so people around here will be in a more better mood,,,but....they're both starting to get fun to watch...I actually yelled out loud at the TV and hollered at my Son to step away from practicing his drums to watch replays three times during the Rams/Cardinals game .I'm the worst kind of fair weather fan...I moved out to Phoenix for the fair weather.

Now if we could just get the local broadcasters to quit jinxing the Cards by not mentioning over and over the thing about being the first host city to have a team in the Superbowl..

The other lesson is that we are 8-1 with only a 5 point loss to the #8 team in the country. We have a top 25 offense, scoring offense, defense and scoring defense. While it may not be as pretty as some would like, it is getting the job done.

Not so fast, my friend! Let's at least win the conference before declaring "it is getting the job done".
