While Hujans dickish posts were quite infuriating, I think we have gotten off topic a bit. You see this is a Polo thread, one of about 20 or more Im guessing. He has yet to post in it though you see because he thinks that makes him humble or some sh#t.
Instead of starting a VS thread I thought Id just get this off my chest here.
Mr. Polo, you are not a martyr. Your trip to Madison was not a sacrifice that will rally us. I know you want legions of like minded Husker clad folk to storm Lincoln and forcefully remove Mr. Pelini from his post. It will not happen. This is not in the fans hands. You say my trust in our AD's decision making is too low. Perhaps, but he hasnt been here long enough to trust yet. I have no clue what hes going to do. If he fires Bo he fires Bo. If he serves an ultimatum so be it. If he plays the wait and see game for another year I wouldnt be shocked either.
The point is you came back from your trip all sorts of jazzed because you acquired new ammunition on your quest to drive more fans away from the current regime. Im not saying you like Saturdays outcome because I know youre a fan first, I truly believe that. I dont think you hated the result though either.
Heres the deal, Ive been a pretty open supporter of Bo and before the season started I had a personal mark of 11 wins set. I truly dont see that mark being reached. Even if it does it wont be much of an accomplishment due to the suck that filled most of our season, opponent wise and performance wise. I too am angry. I too am ready for change. I dont want an empty stadium to oust Bo though. The higher ups can decide his fate. Its not our place. The tradition has taken a strong hit but I dont wanna see anarchy take over this proud fan base either. Once we lose sight of the big picture as fans I dont think we recover.
If Bo is gone so be it. He had his chance this year and blew it. Im not staying home Saturday though to get my point across to the AD that I want a conference title.
