The Sock Puppet Rides!

The sock puppet has been a reliable conduit of interesting tidbits and insider knowledge thus far.

He sorts through the B.S and has been spot on with the information he chooses to release.

I would assume at this point in the game he knows who he can trust.

Currently everything has been pretty much spot on.

Last night we was 75% sure Tressel was "N"

I am holding out hope for the sweater vest....or at least until the sock puppet says differently.

At this point in time he is the only reliable source I would believe on this board.

I would guess everything is being wrapped up and they want it tight lipped for obvious reasons until they make the announcement. And Shawn and the new hire are currently the only two that know when that will be.

IMO sock puppet has already given us all the news...what else is there for him to report? His insider has

reported all he knows. The wheels are in motion and we are just waiting for Shawn to announce a press

conference. This is all speculation of course.
Lol dudes, no hate on the Sock, BUT....The only reliable info is he said that Bo is getting fired this weekend.... That wasn't that difficult to predict. I hope he is right about Tressel but I'm not holding him on higher ground yet...
Wasn't that difficult to predict? You said Bo would stay and Beck fired and everything else you have said was either wrong or inconsequential.
Okay.... I wasn't predicting, passing along information I had heard. This isn't about my posts, others were PREDICTING Bo would be fired over weekend. I hope we get Tressel, however all evidence suggests it's not happening. Well other than the socks.

PS if you listened to SE, he said he decided Saturday night to fire BO. Hadn't even decided yet and the Sock had already said he would be fired before then, then changed it to Sunday STILL before SE had decided he was sure he wanted to fire him...

Vegas would not take Jim Tressel's name off their betting board if they know "for sure" he will not get the job. They would lose money by doing so.
Not when they have a field bet.
I have it back up on my site. It's not off the board it's back on.

Field bet?
Basically on a bet of this type Vegas will list the most likely outcomes with odds then offer a "field bet" which is essentially everyone else. They do this for the exact reason you mentioned. So as not to be accused of having inside info and not offering a winning option at all. I'm not sure if the field is in play on this prop or notbecause the only odds i can find Bovada and they are offshore and could give 2 sh&ts whether itlooks sketchy or not

PS if you listened to SE, he said he decided Saturday night to fire BO. Hadn't even decided yet and the Sock had already said he would be fired before then, then changed it to Sunday STILL before SE had decided he was sure he wanted to fire him...
Stop. Just stop. Nothing you've "predicted" or passed on came to fruition. Quit back-pedaling. You're starting to come across as that iamanewby guy. Just throwing sh#t at the wall hoping some of it sticks so he can proclaim himself the all-knowing.

The Sock's peeps sayin' we probably hear somethin' official by the end of the weekend but it's hard to say for sure.

The Sock's own opinion is that this AD got the eye of the tiger. He a smooth operator. He got ice water in his veins. A ginger assassin. The kind of dude that can smile at you as he pulls the trigger. I saw that with mine own eyes during the TV presser.

The Sock's sources say that even the folks in the "inner circle" ain't bein' told nuthin' at this point and since there one guy doing the decidin', unless he talks, nobody knows.

That bein' said, Dan Mullen is still a real possible candidate. Moglia has reached out to SE (not the other way round).

The tweets isn't somethin' to think too much about. These smart dudes know how to cover up they smoke better'n them moonshiners. The Sock wouldn't be surprised if they's floatin' names out there just to cover they tracks and keep all us nosy folks runnin' in circles.

One source says he has a gut feeling that it could be Frost. No inside info on that one so take it with a bit o salt. Also said that those in the coachin' gig hold Frost in VERY high regard as one of the brightest young minds in football.

So, nuthin' solid, and even the sources nervous these days, which is to be expected.

It'll all work out in the end.

Go Big Red!

My nervous boner just went back up...

Edit - damnit just read the update. I am holding out hope & keeping the boner tho
