I don't believe for one second Polo was banned just because his opinion ran counter to the herd. In fact, his opinions were quite popular lately given Pelini's departure. Avoid Polo's propensity for trolling and personal attacks, and I personally look forward to your opinions on HB for a long time.

it is all a matter of perspective. there are plenty here that i see engaging in personal attacks or "trolling", but they never would see it that way because they just think it is a good argument or not intended as a personal attack.

seems like people's skin gets much, much thinner when they are disagreeing with an argument.

He was always right, and anyone who disagreed was an idiot/fool/whatever, and a [insert cliche about bo lovers/kooliad/etc]. Like Bo, he got some things right. But he did it without class and was many times a bully to people. Many times, he'd come in and make it about him and his opinion, even in a completely unrelated topic. He was a master of veiled insults and skirted the rules for a long time. He obviously had some issues with the admins & mods, hence him getting the boot.

Bascially, Polo was the Bo Pelini of Huskerboard.

The holier-than-thou shtick needs to stop already. It's the internet, we all talk sh#t about everyone, polo was good at it and that's what pisses people off. I've taken a ton of sh#t from everyone including mods but i laugh it off, I don't go and report the guy in hopes that they are punished by a mod or admin, why? Because it's the f'ing internet. If you dont like what someone says then simply ignore the person. No one knows why the 3 got kicked off so lets stop the BS already.

 
Wow Saunders. I think you're going pretty overboard with that comment above. Polo was a bully? My a$$ he was. I never saw him call anyone an idiot/fool.....whatever. If he made you feel as such, then toughen up or bounce on out. He couldn't have disagreed more with many of you, yet he kept his cool and never really crossed this imaginary line. If he did, it wasn't by much. The comparisons to EZ-E are funny really because as much as I like EZ-E as a person, EZ-E lost his cool and said some pretty dumb sh#t quite a few times. As have I. As passionately as Polo hated Bo, his only problem was it was all he had to say, not the way he said it.

Here's that whole bee hive mentality rearing it's head. It's a real thing. Guys that disagree get painted as some sort of f'ing demon and it's truly a crock of sh#t.

Also, like Mantis says above, none of you ever admit when you're wrong. NONE OF YOU. I've literally kept track as much as I can. There's been a few instances in my time here where I was outright wrong or overreacted, I've apologized, admitted my fault and over on. I've watched to see if anyone here has ever been capable of swallowing some pride and doing the same. THEY f'ing DON'T. PERIOD. Almost to the point where guys have defended the dumbest f'ing opinions ever til the death.

Also, to Polo's credit, he wasn't wrong.
