***2016 Recruiting***

Updated with the recent commits and to look at the size of this class. With 19 seniors currently on scholarship, we're set to have 64 return next year (before any further attrition). That's 21 open spots plus likely the three over-signees for 24 right now. Obviously could change with any further attrition before February. We currently have 12 commits so likely 12 more (halfway done

Priority:
OT - We're in really good shape at OG but are in dire need of tackles
DT - Bledsoe could end up at DT but other than that we don't seem to have a lot of interest right now.
DE - Hopefully Fant doesn't get crazy. Wonder what's going on with McDaniel.
WR/CB - No one seems to really be emerging as having a lot of interest in us at these spots.

247 composite B1G rankings as of right now. Pretty big gap between the top 4 and NU. Then another gap between us and Iowa/Wisconsin/Northwestern/Minnesota. Also our Average is on par with MSU and Michigan, but they have 8 more commits that we do.

I can't remember past recruiting cycles, but it seems like we're way ahead of the curve with this 2016 class. Is this class size bigger, right now, than it has been in the past?

Last year at this time we had 8 recruits on our way to a class of 20. Two years ago we had 8 on our way to 25 but had three more by July 5. Right now we have 12 on our way to 24 (or maybe a couple more than that).

About 8-10 was the pace of the last three years. Not as many by this time the few years before that.
