I really don't know why this sort of stuff surprises anyone. We just aren't a very good football team, it's as simple as that.

This isn't scheme folks when it comes to our defensive struggles. It falls on two position groups Defensive Line & Secondary.

Our secondary fundamentals are very poor. This falls on Coach Brian Stewart.

Defensive line still looks like they are playing patty-cake with the offensive line. I'm not as down on Coach Hughes yet because our run defense has been very good.

However, our secondary needs to improve in a hurry or we will not win the Big Ten West.

Just throw it to Westy or Stanley every time

Thirs down 11 yards.

Can't play this way.

Armstrong throws screen to Tariq Allen for Touchdown within seconds of these comments. Haha! Brilliant.

That play was snuffed out, got lucky with the missed tackle.

Put your athletes in space and make them make a guy miss. That's the entire idea of an outside screen.

Bill Callahan agrees with you.

Bill Callahan ran a west coast offense, zero bubble screens. Langs runs a west coast but with the players we have he uses some spread principles (see zone read/bubble screens). Callahan has nothing to do with this offense or the players involved today. But keep it up, I like the laughs

While I'll admit that I'm not an expert in the xs and os, I remember that Bill liked WE screens, and so do Mike and Danny.

Callahan liked Rb screens, hence why marlin lucky was a top 3 receiver on the team.
