I still like the coach. I still support them. Don't have the faith in them I did have and I seriously question Langsdorfs intelligence.

 
Dude, we lost to f'ing Illinois! What do you expect? If this was a one point loss to OSU, MSU, Michigan it'd be a different story. Its f'ing Illinois...

I love Mike Riley, he is a super nice guy. Would make a great senior citizen community activities director...

We go from Solich, no offense good defense, to CAclown all offense no defense to Bo great defense at start then a maniac to the nicest guy in the world Mike Riley. Why cant we ever not knee jerk react?

Why is it 'band wagon' if you want what is best for the program. Guess all of us who dont want to sit through 3-4 years of waisted time are fair weather fans?

Anyway I still wish him the best. But I kinda hate him at this point.

It is complicated.

 
I support Riley and the team. I am willing to give him a couple years to see what he can accomplish and if it continues with losses like the ones we have been seeing, I will be more then happy to help show him the door. I just don't think it would be good to sh#t can him after a year or 2 because that could have grave repercussions on the program.

 
Canning him mid season in his first couple years is pointless. It sends the wrong message if we need to replace him. Let complete records speak for themselves. If we aren't worth a sh#t come December next season, the experiment should end.

Wow. ITT I'm finding our some of the Riley "haters" are less mouth-breather-y than I thought. But man, some of them are the WORST. I'm all about positivity at this point in my life, so I just tune our the negativity from some on here. I really dislike the smug "I told you so" undertones I get from some of the anti-Riley guys.

I'll reevaluate my opinion of him in January.

 
Like I've said, it's still way too early in the game to get a truthful, well-rounded evaluation of this hire. At the current moment, it doesn't look good.
