Netflix & streaming video stuff worth watching

Has anyone watched the latest seasons of House of Cards or Orange is the New Black? And were they good?
I'm about halfway through Orange is the New Black. It's okay. Not as good as the first season. Haven't started House of Cards yet.

If you want a recommendation, I'd suggest: "Marco Polo". It's good! That is, it's good if you like neked Chinese chicks and violence.

Finished Orange is the New Black a couple weeks ago. It was decent but def not as good as Season 1 or 2. Ruby Rose though...dear gawd.

When you have a toddler the roku app for a phone is probably the best app to ever be created. That is, until the toddler has a meltdown because they demand you use the remote and not your phone to put on whatever show they want to watch , and you can't find said remote.

I just watched the Pilot for The Man in the High Castle on Amazon Prime. I highly recommend it. The rest of the season comes out Nov 20.

I'm about 7 episodes in and it is pretty good. I kind of wondered when I started watching if it would be a one and done season but I've heard it ends in a way that sets up for a second season. It's one of those shows you have to pretty much give your undivided attention (unless you can speak Spanish) bc majority of it is spoken in Spanish so lots of subtitles.

Black Mirror coming to Netflix. The whole series is stand along stores in each episode with none of the characters or technology carrying through the series. They all tend to look into where the human race and its relationship with technology is heading. Some fascinating stuff.

I've been watching "Death Note" on Netflix. It's an anime show about a kid who finds a book that can cause people to die if he writes their names in it. I have to admit I actually sort of like it. Next thing you know I'll be watching anime porn and asking my wife to dress up in plaid schoolgirl skirts.

They just released Episode 2 on Amazon Prime this weekend to whet our whistle for the series...and it looks good.

Yeah, there's some obvious CGI shots when they're in a Japanese-occupied San Francisco and the like...but I'm willing to overlook them for a well-crafted story. And episode 2 was just as good as the pilot, IMO.
