My optimism about the previous regime was a result of me putting all my chips in the Pelini system. It cost me. I entered the Riley era with some nervous optimism about the potential, but can't shake the gut feeling of more disappointment to come.

that is pretty bizarre. i prefer more of an even keel. bo got 4+ years before i really doubted him. i think i can give riley a season before i am ready to throw him to the wolves.

Oh he absolutely deserves another year. But if it yields similar results...

yeah. he needs to show marked improvement in year two and a good to great product in year 3.

I have insanely high hopes for next year. Even though the schedule gets harder, I think our talent level increases as does team chemistry. I think we knock off Oregon early and end up being a contender.

i'll be excited. as for a bowl, i have written off this season. i hope the coaches get whatever value they can from this team and keep moving forward. they will nee to process quite a few players and work their asses off to fill the gaps.
