Tangent Thread - December 2015 Edition

Sometimes games are over after 3 quarters...
And yet they still play all four.

Many a team has been down 30 or so (BLOW

OUT) and came back and won. That is why only the final score matters. Get it now?
Did you think all those blowouts vs Wisconsin were "over" before the end of the game? I sure did!

RADAR...the simple fact that there are some Husker fans that seem happy/thrilled or even okay with "non-blowout losses" is part of the problem!
Egg-Zac-Lee.

"We lost to ANOTHER inferior team that we should have decidedly beaten? Oh well, it wasn't a blowout by a legitimate team so that's great!"

Those fans don't exist. Again you're misinterpreting. Nobody is saying that, just like no one was saying it was okay to lose to a terrible Purdue team when you said that's what people were saying. Believe it or not it is possible to discuss this without thinking those things.
IMO losing to Purdue by even 1 point is bad enough without having to exaggerate and make crap up about how it was a blowout.

They do...sad but true.

No, they don't. Saying non blowout losses are better than blowout losses doesn't mean they're okay with losses.

Saying it wasn't a blowout is simply trying to put lipstick on a pig, which also happens to be the worst program loss is 60 years. We were down at least 2 scores, the last 20 minutes of the game. At no point did we possess the ball with the chance to get it to a one score game during that period.

The fact is, Nebraska was out coached, and out played in that game, and it showed.
