Not many surprises there. We have heard so much from the media that have been at the practices. I do find it interesting that Bryant is ahead of Wilbon at I-back, but most people thought that was the case this past week.

  1. Will Wilbon see the field?

Surprised to see Natter as the DE backup
Good to see Kieron get the starting job
Will Newby and Dzuris start by mid-season?
Can DPE and MRI please stay healthy

Little shocked that Newby is listed ahead of Ozigbo and without the "Or".
Riley and Langsdorf will always go with the RB who is best in the pass game. Ozigbo may end up with more carries this year or may end up being the #1 guy later this season, but Riley and Langsdorf want that versatility at RB.

I think Newby is better than Rose-Ivey, even when Rose-Ivey is healthy.

If DPE can make it back to his freshman level of play and stay healthy, this will have a big impact on the season.

From what I saw last year from running and catching. Gimme Ozigbo
I would also rather have Ozigbo, but we aren't Riley or Langsdorf. They have different thoughts on the RB position that most of us on this board.

I don't agree. He has the freshman Nebraska record for tackles for a reason. He should also be the ILB, not OLB. Newby has made strides though and think he will have a good year.

We know where that got us last year....

Rose-Ivey was very good as a freshman, but the injuries over the past few years have made him worse. He is not dependable and looks very slow out there to me.
