I think we'll win 8-9 games this year but watching this it's really hard to see Riley doing better than Pelini long term (as far as wins, that is). If he does as well as Pelini than I'd prefer him but... better would be better.
Strangely enough, I don't think he was brought in to win more. I think he was brought in to reboot the program and get it in a positive place again. I think he is viewed as a transition coach. Just my opinion
I've said the same. He was brought in as the anti-Bo. A nice guy to smooth feathers. Not to get us back to the MNC IMO....

I don't think anyone hires a coach for that reason but if he can have a string of decent years while not screaming and being a jack a$$ then I guess that's a good thing.

I mean, the writing is on the wall. Michigan has provided the blueprint of how to return to prominence. If we don't follow it, it's our own damn fault.
