I think the bold is a great example of why some people think you're, I dunno, douchey. Not douchey as in an a-hole but more like pretentious.

I know what the word paradigm means but I don't actually use it. :)   Unless I'm trying to sound smart. (Ok, I have never actually used it).

The smarter the person...the less they try and sound like an ACT Prep Book.  

LOMS is not the worst offender...not even close.  

If you can't explain something simply...you don't understand it well enough.

Pretty sure Alfred Einstein said that.  (What movie)

 
Coach Power T used to give me grief for my vocabulary back in the day. What's the point of cool words if you're not supposed to use them? :lol:  

 
I have a fantastic vocabulary. The people I talk to online don't usually have a similar vocabulary. It took me a few years to learn that I could use all the "big words" I wanted, but if people didn't know what I was talking about, or had to get a thesaurus to decipher what I was saying, they'd just tune out. 

 
Well at least I'll always know that zoogs is still here to be worse at that than me. Kind of like how Alabama's slogan is, "At least there's Mississippi."

Evidently I haven't ever received any official warnings. Mavric did delete a post of mine when I said if Michigan and Colorado played, the Buffs would end up like Cherica Adams.

I guess that's off-color to some folks. :dunno

 
I got 30 days from BRI b/c of response I had towards cmhusker below. I thought 30 days was pretty excessive. The guy deserved everything he got.

"And you do exactly what you say you are not going to do. Get out of your moms basement and give your only friend a little break from your incessant yanking."

I got 3 days for a personal attack on Matty from zoogs that I can't even access. He gave me a link to attack but when I click on it now it doesn't do anything, so how did I get 3 days for nothing???

Got 3 days from Thanks Tom RR for calling posters posts in a Trev Alberts topic idiotic. I didn't call anyone an idiot, I was calling their post idiotic. Did not agree with this. Your posts and thought can be idiotic without the poster actually being an idiot. I'm proof of that......I think.

And I got 7 days from Knapp for posting "For some reason Bo has his c$%k up TMs a$$..." .  Not entirely sure about getting suspended for posting the truth.

So, in the end 3 of them I guess I could live with but BRI's for 30 days I didn't agree with at all.
