Nice looking drive. Now if our defense can actually hold Oregon...

This shows Riley has no faith in Diaco.  None.  In his mind, Riley has already fired him..

They scored TDs on 7 of 9 drives.   This defense is a joke.  The "Bend and Shatter" is a no go.

Honestly, I think we should just rest our defense and spot Oregon 7 every time they get the ball back. That is easier than watching them play. Diaco is simply useless. He knows defense as much as I know Chinese.

I want to see this magical D where Diaco said some BS about being able to mix fronts to be a 3 man or 5 man front and disguise the blitzes....

Only 4 Touchdowns behind now, if we could stop them on defense, we have a chance.  I hope they keep fighting no matter the score.

Do it again, this time get the catch and get the first, then run back behind the first and fortunately get away back to first down.

I think I figured out the scheme.

Rush 3.
Have two linebackers spying the TEs.
The WLB is in man coverage against any slot WR, the SLB is in zone coverage to prevent the run.
CBs are in Mone coverage (man plus zone) and the S are in Zan. (zone plus man)

That's the only sense I can make of this defense.

Ths is the one that has me scratching my head.  Total mismatch.

I don't mind our offense and it shows promise at times.

No idea what the hell Diaco is actually thinking of D though.
