Minnesota replacing Iowa as Nebraska's Thanksgiving Game

I love this move because mostly this was forced and Iowa NEVER loved the idea of playing the day after Thanksgiving

B1G basically saying iowa and Wisconsin are the two top teams in the west right now so they want them to play at the end of the year

It's the final (Thanksgiving) weekend of the season, but not necessarily to be played on day after Thanksgiving.

I like it. I just have never liked Iowa and I don't mean in a secretive  rival denial sort of way. They are just one of the boringest, unexciting teams I can think of and their uniforms make me want to puke. I literally would take anyone as a faux rival before them. I never want to be considered in the same category as them even if/when we deserve to be considered their peer. Sorry, I know some like that next door neighbor rival thing but I'd just as soon never have to see them on the same field.

I'm fine with breaking the tradition of playing a "rivalry" game on black Friday.  Makes a true rivalry form on it's own and stop forcing it.  If and when we do have a heated rival again, then it could possibly be moved back.
