I have never understood why they don't do this once in awhile. I know other schools do it.  Not once has Nebraska tried something like this. Closest I remember is a b******* sometime, don't remember when, they put black "terrible towels" on seats.

Last time wisky came they tried to have the students start off wearing red then switch to black when the defense ran onto the field for the first time (handed out free black shirts at the gate). It didnt work that well.

The only way this actually happens is if the university endorses it and provides shirts.

I don't get the anti-b******* sentiment. Doing a one-off b******* to differentiate this one game from the rest is a way to get hyped up. PSU does this to great effect with their whiteouts. 

You can wear red 11/12 games a year, why does it need to be 12/12?

Man I hope not.  Time to see what is real,  we know that Wisconsin is not going to hand the game to over, so the question is will the huskers roll over or will they make the Badgers earn it.

If it's being perpetuated by the Iron N, then it's probably only meant for the student section. It turned out just fine when they tried this against UCLA in 2013, but they definitely need to make sure they are clear in their marketing.
