Still want to keep Diaco?

Diaco didn't miss any tackles.  In the 3-4, the linebackers have to tackle.  Our linebackers stink.  It's just that simple.  I've said it a million times.  We don't have talent.  it showed again tonight against a team that many on this board think have less talent than us.  Did it really look that way to anybody?

HahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahahaha

Our linebackers just aren't bad enough dudes to fill the hole like they should. Not much you can do schematically when the other team is more physical than you are...

Yup completely agree - the talent at linebacker really showed itself tonight. Newby needs to be shown the bench and if our young backers can't beat him out based on what he's putting on film we are in trouble for the foreseeable future- especially against teams like Wisconsin and Iowa.

I'd rather have Diaco be the HC for the rest of the season. Grandpa Mike just stands there looking confused chewing his gum with his hands in his pockets.

Linebacker has been a problem for quite a few seasons now.  It's paramount that we change this if we stick to the 3-4.

Mike is a CEO type of coach.  He let's his assistants do their jobs.  I'd like to see more raw-raw out of him.

Prior to tonight, I did.  After tonight, no.  It's like Bankers quarters coverage.  Just because Narduzzi's was awesome doesn't mean someone else is.  Whiskey's 3-4 continually shuts folks down.  Disco, at least at NU, not so much.....This grip is on Riley.  Whisky does 3 drives after we get the pic 6 totaling almost 200 yards, all but 2 pays on the ground and he does nothing.  no time outs, nada.  Diaco does nothing.  No time outs to call them down.  Try to encourage them.  nothing.  They just let the D get their a$$es handed to them down after down and did nothing.

i was not impressed with diacos gameplan. wisconsin wasn't doing anything fancy. just jamming it down our throats. diaco had no answer.
When you don't have the jimmies and joes to fill a hole and execute (tackle) there's not really an answer for that in season... gotta get bigger, faster, stronger.

I told everyone here they'd be disappointed in Diaco when he was hired and I was mocked because "it was UConn"

doesn't matter where you take a dump, it still stinks.

Guess what? Wisconsin has a great football team and will probably be undefeated during the regular season. Get over it.

Yeah, I've always hated that hip hip hooray garbage.  His no cussing on the sideline has always bothered me too.  Let your kids get emotional.  Let them get fired up.

Anger is the hillbilly solution to all problems. It actually doesn't work in real life.
