Notre Dame has 4 tough games left, then no Championship Game as a final showcase.

I don't think they end up in the playoffs.

Final 4 will be:

Alabama

Georgia

Clemson

Ohio State

sorry for the tangent guys. Will stop now.

Maybe. Still think the Irish would be in. Their one loss (to Georgia) would be much better than Clemson's loss (to Syracuse), and even OU's loss (Iowa St).

If Notre Dame doesn't get in it won't be because they're not P5.

(Assuming my math is correct) Crouch would have ran track as a freshman in 1994.  Scott Frost would have ran track as a senior in 1993.  Also, when would have Wood River and Millard North had a track meet against each other?

Under O'Leary they had 5 losing seasons and 7 8+ win seasons. So I wouldn't call that drop off an anomaly.

Going 0-12 in major college football is an anomaly no matter what team it is or what their previous records were

UCF went 12-1 in 2013 and won the Fiesta Bowl and ended up only ranked 10th in the final polls.  Goes to show how people feel about non P5 schools doing well.
