I don't think he does have a suite, actually.  Everything I've ever read by him states that he will donate to long-term programs that will impact a lot of people and he gives mostly to the Gates Foundation.
I've read that too but I still think that if push came to shove and the Huskers needed funds he would supply them. He wouldn't broadcast it but he would do it.

So here is what we know for sure about the Husker Football program at this point.

1.  We are having a dreadful year

2.  Bill Moos is hired as AD

3.  Bill Moos has said that Mike Riley deserves to finish out the season as coach.

Am I missing anything?

No I don't have any links

I do!

"I've always liked sports. I haven't been that good at it. I've been redshirted now for 61 years," the 80-year-old says with a laugh. "They're just waiting for the right offense."

At other schools, wealthy alums might want their names plastered on stadiums or meddle in football affairs, but Buffett, Class of 1950, isn't your typical billionaire. He's just a fan. If he donates to the Nebraska program, he does so anonymously. Instead, his considerable charity donations have gone to causes such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to address education, health and poverty problems.

One reason could be because he doesn't care about football and would rather spend his money on other things.

This.

The guy is notorious for giving to causes more important than sports. Hell, most of his worth isn’t even going to his kids, set to go to several charities and foundations.
