The Republican Utopia

I have mixed feelings about whether a physical wall is the most practical way to secure the border. But there’s no question in my mind that we need to. And I see no credible proposals being advanced by Democrats to take illegal immigration seriously.

Before Donald Trump, Barack Obama was known in the Hispanic community as "the deporter-in-chief" because of what was then perceived as his aggressive immigration policies.

Studies have shown that Mexican and Central American immigration is significantly lower than it was a decade ago, that illegal immigrants are putting more into the American economy than they are taking out, and that relatively few voters or policy makers have considered it a pressing issue prior to the recent election.

A 2,000 mile border wall, the new layer of government oversight and spending, are the heated rhetoric are the exact opposite of what we need.  So I think the Democrat alternative is about the right amount of serious.

That's because you've hardwired your brain to immediately associate anything Democratic as non-credible.

No, it’s because it’s been apparent for some time that many Democrats consider illegals as future Democratic voters and a game changer in elections. So they want as many to come here as possible, and then want to find ways to secure their voting rights as quickly as possible. It’s obvious to anyone paying attention.

Why would Democrats want to end something they strongly believe favors them?

I find it weird that people sit around and claim that too many people without a job are sitting at home because it's "too easy to not work" in this country due to all the social safety nets.

BUT....where does ICE go when they feel they need to deport a bunch of people?  Yep....let's go get the people who are hard at work in our economy, paying taxes into the system (that in some ways they will never see the benefit from), feeding their families with their hard work and teaching their own kids work ethics and how to improve your life.

So why not force able-bodied Americans to work. Then there won't be a need for illegal labor.

Alternatively, deport Americans who refuse to work and give their spots to hard-working immigrants.

How about if we start by not demonizing immigrants as all violent criminals, rapists, murderers for political gains and racist votes?

THEN...how about if we have an actual meaningful discussion about who is not working in this country and who is not paying taxes, and why?

If people take their political brains out of the discussion.....the answers might surprise people.

Illegal Hispanic immigration is going to become less of a problem a companies are moving to hire political refugees instead . Burmese , Sudanese , Somalians etc provide the same cheap exploitable labor without all the messy details of legality . They are a thousand miles from home and scared they will do whatever they are told , no matter how demeaning for little pay because it’s better than where they came from . Great for the companies bottom line but not so much for America .

I'm not demonizing anyone.
