Seeing comments that he may not stick around which suddenly makes our QB bench shakier this year if AM gets injured.

Pretty horrible news. Also very short sighted if he chooses to leave. AM could get hurt or just not be good in games.

I'm really surprised to hear that this is the case. It was a close battle that came down to the end and he's one injury away from being the starter. I'm guessing the gravity of the announcement weighed on him a lot over the weekend and zapped a lot of his passion/emotion for being here.
As Frost said, the situation is 'not ideally' what you'd want as a coach, and that's particularly true if TG leaves.

I am fine with him taking a day to think and hope he stays. But if he does, I would expect no future nonsense. Stay or don't, but no long term crap.

Will there be posts about how much Gebbia did for NU just like when Keyshawn Johnson, Jr. left NU, even though both never saw the field at NU in a Husker uniform?

He can transfer to a JUCO and still play D-1 next year. He could transfer to another FBS school this semester (some schools haven't started classes yet) and use this fall as his "sit out year".
