Adrian Martinez Injury

First, let me say that Gebbia leaving was his choice and I don't "wish" he'd have stayed.  Knowing he bolted as soon as he wasn't starter says loads about his team mentality.  Team of 1.  And I do understand his need to feel like he's doing the best for his future. (Or his dad as it may be).  By the way..how many snaps did Tristan take today?  Heh heh.

Now, having said that, I wonder if Frost has had any thoughts of his decision.  Maybe make Gebbia the starter for the first game.  If they were that close maybe reward him for sticking around.  Playing one or two games, then switching to Martinez if Gebbia didn't work out, it would have been much harder for Gebbia to bolt then.  I really highly doubt Martinez would have left if Gebbia had been named starter for game one.

Who know and who really cares.  Just an interesting thought.

BTW...I think Bunch is going to make a lot of believers next week when the game is planned around him.

Read Mcl tears online. Minor tear 1 week, grade 2 tear is 2-4 weeks, grade 3 4-8 weeks no surgery
even if it's the minor, i can't imagine frost is going to rush him back. martinez has a long career ahead of him.

i predict we don't see martinez again until purdue at the earliest

Probably didn't make it worse but that CO player that had his legs obviously twisted his leg down harder before he got up. Pretty dirty.

Edit: after watching that several more times he really twists his knee that's enough to cause a sprain.

Not to be selfish, but the Purdue game is the only game I'll get to this year.  Would love to see him if he is healthy.

Guessing partial tear doesn’t require surgery? Just heal time of 4-6 weeks?
I had a partial tear my senior year of college.  I was out 2 weeks (probably should have been out 4).  Didn't feel completely stable until the end of the year.  But,  I played Safety and even though our training staff was pretty good I think AM is in wayyyy better hands.
