Speaking to the OP and any that jump in as they slowly get brainwashed. We are not going to become KU and laugh it off.

Maybe you want to find comfort in socializing. Misery loves company. I bet that is the case here.

Or maybe this is to embrace weakness because you do not know how to achieve greatness?. Have you never heard No Pain, No Gain? You do not lay down like a puss....you get up and fight back. And you fight through it

I really suggest you move this or take this to the woodshed. That way you can giggle and Embrace your own suckness.

That's something I try to point out with older Nebraska fans who complain about younger fans. Pretty easy to be a loyal fan when NU is constantly going to Orange Bowls and winning conference and national titles. It's a little different growing up with Callahan, Bo and Riley. 

 
Yeah I get pretty annoyed with the whole "I was a die hard during the glory days!  I played DII football back in the day!  Listen to me!"  crowd when they refuse to do anything but look down on younger fans.  I didn't become a die hard until like 2005-2006ish, how does that even happen?
