But it’s the opposite problem. She just made a topic with a link to metric conversion. That was the entirety of the topic.
But that describes about 95% of her posts.....find something on the internet and create a new topic for it (even if it is directly related to the preceding thread creation).  Maybe she doesn’t know we can all use Google  :dunno   I mean what is going to be the quicker, easier find; looking through HB threads titled “I found it”, “Here’s that pic”, “suggestion” etc., or just entering what you’re looking for in Google?

It’s very curious posting behavior.

A lot of what she posts seems to legitimately come from something she has made (based on language and the photo quality she posts) which is part of the reason we're a bit more lax about the recipe posting in there. But, I also went through and noticed several things that I agree don't really have a home on Huskerboard i.e. metric conversion guide, gardening tips, baking racks to purchases through Amazon.

It might be different if there was some nuance to it that made it into some sort of beneficial conversation, but posting straight links with little to no context is a bit unneeded.

Yeah, I don’t have any problem with recipes she has prepared. In fact I like looking at those off and on. But the ones that she hasn’t tried......it’s just an online recipe file for her sole use. I’m getting over that facet of it slowly    But the nondescript titles and 4 different threads for one subject will probably always annoy me.

What would be super nice is if Recipes became its own forum, rather than a sub forum of Misc BS. Then all those needless new threads wouldn’t override the latest posts in Misc BS. Then I wouldn’t give a care how many new topics were created in Recipes.

God bless @Enhance for patiently trying to help and educate Roxy. On the surface it seems a fools errand but, if it works, you'll have earned the respect and gratitude of all of Huskerboard.

But, until that time, the odds of Roxy misinterpreting and getting pissed and storming off the board is running at -150. Place your bets
I'm not seeing a downside to any of this.
