I haven't been very optimistic that this was going to happen, but it definitely seems like they are going to give a go and man I'd like to watch some football!
Do you mean, like, sexy water?OK, everybody. :cop:
I just moved about 40 posts out of here that had a better home outside of the football forum. My eyes are (figuratively) bleeding a bit. If you think yours got unfairly caught up in the cross fire, I'm sorry.
I'm sure there are other posts within this 169 page monstrosity that need to be moved, too. They're staying.
Here's the call-to-action: we are going to start handing out warnings if people can't keep the politics out of this discussion. You know what I'm talking about. Use your judgement. If you think something you want to say will put you in hot water, please either don't say it or find a home for it in P&R.

I thought I heard that it will be up to each state/county.Wonder if the league will have any guidelines regarding this or if it will be up to each school.
Ha...you know, instead of hot, it is sexy...it was just a bad joke...like 99% of my jokes. What is "sexy water"?
How does this work within CDC guidelines is what I'm wondering. Do those not apply for football games? Will the B1G implement an attendance limit?Seems like a decent way to go from football to no football. I'd rather play it safe and have a non-full stadium, than risk a full stadium and having it be the cause of an outbreak.

In the end I doubt we will see full attendance this year. Too much liability.I have got a feeling that some local public health officials are simply losing their minds over this tweet as those "low" numbers can turn into "big" numbers in a real hurry. I do not know what Moos' calculus is on this. If the league deviates from the CDC, then the CDC is going to say "do what you want, don't blame us, I am sure your crack epidemiologists in the athletic department are smarter than us."
Even with out lower than national average numbers, a full stadium would likely be a pretty bad idea. One person could give it to 100s. Maybe rapid testing will be developed that will change things? Test everyone at the gate? Show up with a recent negative test to be admitted? Crazy but some of our fan base would likely do it to attend.I wonder are they going to allow visiting fans or just home crowd? Curious because if say the virus is low in Nebraska like it is now. Then our fans are probably a low risk to each other. But if say we host Ohio state and Ohio is a mess at the time with lots of infections maybe it’s best to not co mingle different regions and towns to bring more infection to Nebraska
