Silver lining: we talked football for a week. It's absolutely hilarious that they made all of the revised schedules for the 10 game season and then cancel a week later.

Oh...the inconsistencies in rules is mind blowing.I mentioned in another thread that I'm either for shutting down absolutely everything for 6 weeks to "nose dive" this thing, or open everything and pretend that all is well in the world. I too, am tired of the bumbling inconsistencies. Nothing makes sense.
It's embarrassing.
Playing devil's advocate:At this point I'm pretty open to the idea that the fear of a quickly-emerging players union (or other grassroots changes) was one of the bigger motivators, honestly.
It makes absolutely no f****** sense to cancel days after releasing the revised schedules.
Playing in the B1G made some sense but I doubt we would make the move to play SEC opponents. It is a disaster in the SE right now. I highly doubt the SEC gets a season off the ground anyway.I say join the SEC for the year and go play.
They needed students on campus to justify student athletes playing sports. They still get tuition from online classes. He ain't wrong.
Yep. It makes no sense. This week there will be 20,000 - 60,000 students on every big ten campus. Going to the bookstore, going out to eat, hitting up bars, house parties...He ain't wrong.
