Penn State - What Did We Learn?

Most of the kids who go to NW aren’t from Chicago. They are from the East coast or other states in the Midwest and had to go to NW because they couldn’t get into a real Ivy League school. Chicago barely recognizes that NW exists. If you ask most Chicagoans, they would like to see DePaul be good in sports.
Yeah, NW is at best an afterthought in Chicago and the Burbs.

DePaul probably is still a bigger name.

In the end Notre Dame is more of the "Chicago" school than NW

I hate to say it, but Nebraska won today how Northwestern wins games. The offense isn’t always pretty, the defense will give up a decent amount of yards, but Nebraska was able to make enough plays to win. Is that sustainable in the long-run, probably not. But, take it when it turns out to be a positive for Nebraska.
Even mirrored last week's game with PSU outgaining us but needing a TD to tie with time running out.

Over the past 3 games the one thing that most sticks out is our DB, LB and DT look the part for the most part...we need edge rushers desperately

Robinson is going to he JJ Watish

Imagine this defense with an edge threat. Not even Randy Gregory, just a Jared Tomich kind of guy.
