I don't know but I think it would be stupid to pass on someone in your own state as good as TR even if Brandon committed.

 
I think we would take both. I would not be a bit surprised to see Baker moved to DT, or at least given a shot at it. He is a physical freak and DT is one of our biggest needs. We have good young players on the OL already on campus (Smith, Jones, Williams, Burkes, M. Jones, Hickman, etc) as well as a couple very good ones this year (Givens, Hoch) it wouldn't completely surprise me if we took both Thompson and Robinson.

all of the "Experts" have said that if Brandon commits and then TR wants to come to NU later on, they will make room for him.

I think that the might even move Baker over to the defensive side of the ball, because he is so dominant there also

 
Brandon also projects at DT himself.

Just like it is good to have those skill position players who project everywhere, it is good to have lineman who project on both sides as well. It gives you so many options.

 
Personally... I don't really care where TR is from. He either wants to be N or not. I hope he makes his mind up and sticks to it. At this point (unless he commits to Neb) I don't really care where he goes. All I want to hear is he commited to Neb or see ya bye.

I think that the decision is already made and he just wants to take a look at Purdue to say that he checked out another school. He will commit to NU by wednesday of next week (IMO)

Sounds like he already made his decison IMO. I hope he is N so we can add him to the championship drive. :thumbs

I would much rather have a player that wants to play at Nebraska period. Who knows what TR wants, hell does he? If he wants to come to Nebraska I'm sure there is room for him. Again I think we need kids that want to play here.
