The defensive staff is going heavy into the portal and for good reason. They got a ton of good feedback. 

Because..they are good coaches. The only ones I’m afraid.

He can't develop, and it has become obvious. Also, he doesn't have a ton of supporters around the facilities like he once did.

I am on record on this board saying that I would understand and not be angry if he was let go at the end of the season.

If he is to come back, he needs to have a specific game plan as to how there would be major changes to the program such as offensive staff and ST coach.  

Sounds like that's what is happening and I'm fine with that.

I've been pretty on the fence with letting him go or not. I can get on board with this decision especially with a restructured contract. If I were to guess I would assume it's going to be a much lower buyout and a lower salary with performance-based incentives.

Sweet, we basically have a lame duck coach unless he wins big.  Even if he's at .500, fans will say "we're moving in the right direction!"

All the super smart people felt like this would be a major factor in the decision.

Yep. There was NO WAY they were going to pay the $20 million to buyout Frost's contract along with all of his assistants. I think that would have been close to over $25-million.

I think Trev made not only the correct decision for the football team, but a savy business decision for the university.

 If they can, heck yeah!   It would be the best spot for him.
