Portal Transfer Targets

As far as Slovis I live on the west coast once teams caught up to SCs air raid he crash landed injuries or not. Whipple is gonna be an upgrade as far as game preparation but slovis is far from a IT type of QB. Watch a few full games outside of his freshmen year then tell me if it’s the offense

Any thoughts on this guy who has not yet officially entered the portal?  He seems to have good running skills and is a decent thrower.  I know he struggled this year at Florida but the whole program was off and it's hard to tell how much of that was coaching.

I mean he was really good his freshman year and then he got some injuries. The offense probably wasn't great for him either. A fresh start could be just what he needs for everything to start clicking.
Yeah, thinking the same.  Not putting him up on a pedestal or anything, but would like to see what a projected 1st or 2nd rounder in the NFL could do with Whipple.  :dunno

I like Smothers and HH and Torres, but they could use another year of seasoning behind a veteran, with the likes of Slovis.

Plus, I'm done with 3 years OTJ training.  Taylor, Armstrong, 2AM....I'm over it.

You say you don't want 3 years of OTJ training,  yet you are wanting a guy who played 3 years elsewhere and this would be his 4th.  His stats have gotten progressively worse each year.  You just prefer if they get OTJ training elsewhere?
