Need bill Callahan to play keep away to keep the score down.  

I said in a post some days ago that I wish Mickey would just pull a Callahan 2006 and just hog the ball possession without ever gaining yards and bleed the clock.  

I think hope told us this game was in arms reach, but I think this is an unrealistic accomplishment with the worst talent I have ever seen put on the jersey

I know. Kind of hard to look for receivers when they're breathing down your neck. We're not as good as the #6 team in many areas...mostly O line and linebacker. I've never seen linebackers this bad at Nebraska. We have to stop favoring the locals and all their hype. Venebles is also one of the best D coaches in the country.

I just got up and turned on the game.  I hoped for a surprise but instead it appears that we are playing as we knew we would.  These poor kids.

I agree and let’s be honest Nebraska fans aren’t expecting National championship any time soon but I think we all just want a program that can win 8-10 consistently.   So that type of rebuilding is doable quickly 

I’d be happy with games with whisky and Iowa that meant something not just moral wins.
