As the radio guys just said, this is the 3rd first half shutout in a row.  Now lets see if they know how to finish.

Okay.  The offense snapping the ball at 28 seconds, when you only have 40, was bad.

90% of our losses were because of our poor OL play. They are worst in the country including FCS.

And obviously you’re intimately knowledgeable about each teams offensive line. You’re not just being hyperbolic because you’re frustrated with your own team.

We could’ve very easily had 2-3 more plays there

NU had a 3rd down conversion wiped away due to penalty. It was 3rd and 25, and then it was 4th down. Another play or two wasn’t going to get NU anything else.

No holding and you get a shot a a FG.  Missed FG.  But they are still up 17-0 at half and get the ball.  Score again and Iowa can't run as much without running the clock out on themselves.

23-0 would have been better but their largest comback this year is 3 points.  Score after the half with a series of precalled plays and they are in good shape.

Johnson needs to be in starting the 3rd.  Grant is not getting it done right now.

No RB is getting it done because our OL is atrocious. I’d just rotate various backs and keep it fresh.

They played for halftime.  Got a first down then They played for a field goal.   Got sacked and the 20 seconds they just gave up hurt.  No aggression.  Left tons a time and came up with nothing.

That drive was disappointing.  Poor strategy.

Let’s hope we win and Iowa cannot come back but if they do, this last drive will haunt us. We had 0 penalties and when it mattered most, we got two very bad penalties. Also, OL needs to protect Thompson. If he goes out, we lose.
