The Israel-Hamas War

Hezbollah has fired 7500 missles at Isreal since October 2023.

I think it was a pretty effective way for Mossad to strike back, with assuredly minimal innocent deaths. They targeted Hezbollah power structure on an individual basis.

Agree. Probably killed a lot less civilians per bad guy hurt/killed.
This all could be true. Certainly Hezbollah is not innocent and has primarily been the aggressor. But that doesn't mean we should just accept Israel killing innocent civilians without looking into it at all, which is what AOC called for.

If congress is supposed to look into it they should look into it.

So I wonder - were the exploding pagers and walkie talkies a set up for this to occur:

Knowing that the commanders could no longer trust their communication devises, they had to meet together to

discuss plans of retribution.  In so doing, Israel tracked them and provided them with their final retribution.

The entire senior command of Hezbollah's Radwan special forces unit has been wiped out in an Israeli airstrike, according to reports.

New details are emerging after an airstrike in Beirut's Dahiyeh neighborhood killed Radwan commanderIbrahim Aqil today. It came hours after a tech attack led to pagers and walkie-talkies exploding all across Lebanonas fighting in the region continues to intensify.

Other "top operatives" of Hezbollah's elite Radwan Force were also killed, Israeli military officials said.

Sources, speaking to Axios' Barak Ravid, elaborated on this. "An Israeli official said that the entire senior command of Hezbollah's Radwan force was eliminated in the strike (around 20 commanders)," he wrote on X.

Justice at long last it appears:    I remember the events noted below:

A Hezbollah official confirmed to AP that Aqil was likely in a building in the Dahiya district that was hit.

He has previously been sanctioned by Washington for being involved in two 1983 terror attacks that left more than 300 people at the US embassy and US Marine Corps in Beirut dead.

Crazy that he was allowed to live that long.

Israel Deliberately Blocked Humanitarian Aid to Gaza, Two Government Bodies Concluded. Antony Blinken Rejected Them.

The U.S. Agency for International Development delivered its assessment to Secretary of State Antony Blinken and the State Department’s refugees bureau made its stance known to top diplomats in late April. Their conclusion was explosive because U.S. law requires the government to cut off weapons shipments to countries that prevent the delivery of U.S.-backed humanitarian aid. Israel has been largely dependent on American bombs and other weapons in Gaza since Hamas’ Oct. 7 attacks.

But Blinken and the administration of President Joe Biden did not accept either finding. Days later, on May 10, Blinken delivered a carefully worded statement to Congress that said, “We do not currently assess that the Israeli government is prohibiting or otherwise restricting the transport or delivery of U.S. humanitarian assistance.”

Prior to his report, USAID had sent Blinken a detailed 17-page memo on Israel’s conduct. The memo described instances of Israeli interference with aid efforts, including killing aid workers, razing agricultural structures, bombing ambulances and hospitals, sitting on supply depots and routinely turning away trucks full of food and medicine.

Lifesaving food was stockpiled less than 30 miles across the border in an Israeli port, including enough flour to feed about 1.5 million Palestinians for five months, according to the memo. But in February the Israeli government had prohibited the transfer of flour, saying its recipient was the United Nations’ Palestinian branch that had been accused of having ties with Hamas.

Separately, the head of the State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration had also determined that Israel was blocking humanitarian aid and that the Foreign Assistance Act should be triggered to freeze almost $830 million in taxpayer dollars earmarked for weapons and bombs to Israel, according to emails obtained by ProPublica.

Hezbollah's media office said on Tuesday that Israel was dropping leaflets with a "very dangerous" barcode on them onto Lebanon's eastern Bekaa Valley, warning that scanning the code by phone would "withdraw all information" from any device.
There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military. Hezbollah's media office did not say if anything else was written on the flyers.
