An unbelievable human being that is not nearly appreciated enough.

He should be an inspiration to all and one of the Presidents kids should be required to learn about in school.  Not because of his acts in office, but because of how he lived his life, especially after leaving office.

The world needs more President Carters!

Seemed like a super nice guy, like you would want him as your neighbor.  

As far as anything amazing he ever did, I mean, again, he was pretty much just a nice regular guy like most of us.  That is why America works so well, we are, for the most part, all pretty good dudes. 

 
Carter looks like he had some good qualities and helped lots of people at times, but at the same time, the “read the room” folks may want to look at the post presidency stuff Jewish people had to put up with, with Carter.  Carter being a Hamas bro, and going against US interests at times.  Carter getting him some Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro bro love. 
 

That room is a little more uncomfortable to read for those accusing others of not “reading the room”.  Here’s to hoping they take some time to read and learn up on some things.

One of the reasons Jimmy Carter won the Nobel Peace Prize was because he continually sought bipartisan and two-state solutions. The undisputed highlight of his Presidency was mediating the 1978 peace accords between Egypt and Israel, leading to 40 ongoing years of relative peace between the two countries that had defined Middle East war. As with many other sober and longstanding observers of geopolitics, Carter didn't believe the road to peace in Palestine came by rubber stamping America's support for Israel's wishes. As always, the lazy and partisan like to brand this anti-semitism. Only the willfully ignorant (not you of course) would categorize this as being a "Hamas bro."

Many people in his own admin were quite embarrassed with his dissent of Jewish individuals and support of groups like Hamas.   I’m sure you will read up on this.

Since unbiased grave dancing seems to be your thing, I can hardly wait to see what you have to offer when Trump is six feet under. That should be revealing and educational. Hopefully we don’t have to wait so long that I forget to check in.

Grave dancing 🙄.  I thought this was a message board to discuss thoughts and opinions, but I guess I will refresh my browser and make sure I’m still on HB.  
 

I'm sure it was an accident on your end, but you did seem to “overlook” the 2 posts saying how he was a good person to a lot of people and did great humanitarian work.   Just an oversight I’m sure since you were so excited to try and get a grave dancing take in before years end.
