Well good point and thanks for acknowledging that they were making a minimum of $15.75/hr PLUS tips which could realistically double their minimum wage.  $25-30/hr ain’t a bad gig for serving coffee.   Certainly better than their $.00 per hour and no healthcare.

Based on the article posted that stated the model of the business wasn't profitable due to low customer turn rate.

That might be so, however the business apparently was operating ok until the unions tried to take hold.   And my guess is the dudes lawyer made sure to have him blame market dynamics for the closure vs unionization.  I don’t think he wanted a lawsuit.

Do you think it wise for owner to say he is closing due to the employees unionizing?  
 

So let’s see the timeline, cafe’s are open before employees vote yea to unionize…..employees vote yea to unionize…..cafe’s close shortly thereafter.    🤔

“Ms. James was the sitting Attorney General of New York and is required by law to have her primary residence in the state of New York — even though her mortgage applications list her intent to have the Norfolk, VA, property as her primary home,” the letter stated. 

“It appears Ms. James’ property and mortgage-related misrepresentations may have continued to her recent 2023 Norfolk, VA property purchase in order to secure a lower interest rate and more favorable loan terms.” 

In February 2001, James also purchased a five-family dwelling in Brooklyn — but has “consistently misrepresented the same property as only having four units in both building permit applications and numerous mortgage documents and applications,” the letter noted.
 

Pulte attached several documents also showing that James purchased another property with her father as a co-signer — but falsely listed the pair as “husband and wife” in 1983 and 2000.
 

“Ms. James, for both properties listed above, appears to have falsified records in order to meet certain lending requirements and receive favorable loan terms,” he told Bondi and Blanche.
 

That could amount to criminal charges, including wire fraud, mail fraud, bank fraud and false statements to a financial institution, among others, Pulte added

Is this your way of saying these potential crimes should not be investigated?   
 

She could pretty easily let us all know her innocence by releasing the mortgage documents in question.  This seems like a pretty cut and dry way of showing the referral is baseless.  We shall see if she does this.

And that goes for both parties. There are criminals in the democratic party also. We actually want to prosecute them. Thats why they all flip republican in the end lol

You're all over the map man. First you don't care, then you want people prosecuted, then you say it doesn't matter, then claim someone else is the one who thinks laws should apply to the powerful. 

We all know how to walk and chew gum at the same time, and caring about the equality of justice doesn't prevent us from caring about anything else.

Anyone who says with a straight face this doesn’t look an awful lot like the latest in the president’s personal campaign of revenge and retribution is either intentionally lying, not paying attention or a complete rube.

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills that what I’m saying even needs said because society for some reason feels obligated to pretend the Republican party operates in good faith instead of petty self-interest.
