So what is your pick?

Which one would mean more to the Husker program?

Winning the Big 12 title for the last time this year after a very controversial season.

or making the Big Ten title game next year and winning the first one.

My pick would be going to the Big Ten title game and winning it. I would be satisfied just making it. Winning it would be icing on the cake.

 
i feel like your expectations are a little high for next year...but yes the big 10 title would probably mean more. not that im saying i think were gonna make it there

 
I said winning the Big 10 because our schedule is alot tougher, which means it will seem like a bigger accomplishment.

 
There will be plenty of time for us to win Big Ten titles and assert ourselves in that league. It will be big to win the first ever Big Ten title, but in the long run that won't matter as much. We could win the first one, or the second, or not show up til year 3, and in the end it will just be a minor blip on anyone's radar.

On the other hand, it will leave a lasting legacy to win the LAST Big Twelve title ever. It would be a great way to close the door on this chapter of our history and I can't think of a better outcome than to be able to write "And Nebraska bid adieu to the Big 12 with an a$$-kicking of Oklahoma in the CCG."

 
The schedule only looks tough because of how good Wisconsin is this year. After they lose all those Seniors, it's just not going to be the same team for a couple years. Wisconsin isn't going to be able to reload every year like tOSU or Nebrasky.

 
Winning the Big 12 this year and going on to win a BCS bowl. It's prestige and a little extra money in the athletic department's coffers.

Doomsday scenario where we lose a couple juniors to the draft next year and / or a certain someone transfers I think a bowl game period would be a realistic goal.

 
I voted for the Big 12 title. I can see why looking forward is more important, but the B12 is within our grasp right now. Next year's schedule will be difficult and everyone will have a target on us as the new kids in the B10. I think it should be a goal, and that goal is important, but we have unfinished business this year and we shouldn't get distracted by next year before we even play the CCG...
