If someone would like to embed that video that would be great. That is his junior highlight video, the second half of the video is where you can really get a feel for some of the throws he can make.

He won the longest throw award at the Nebraska Elite QB camp this summer, and is just now really starting to gain a lot of interest in recruiting. I know he has been talking to Nebraska and I am pretty sure he has already had an official visit. More than likely a walk on prospect, but this kid can make all the throws.

The kid is the best QB in the state, and has some pretty good skills, however, the only way he is a Husker is if he accepts a preferred walk on roll.

Very, very doubtful Fyfe would take a walk-on. Rumors out there that he has a few D1 offers that just haven't been reported about yet. Regardless, if Fyfe continues to play as he has this season, I think he will make it hard on the coaching staff not to offer the kid. It's been a long time since a QB like Fyfe has came through the state. Not very often will you find an athletic QB who is also a very good passer in the state of Nebraska. Fyfe is both of those things. Incredibly quick release and velocity on his passes.

I definitely would not be upset at all if the coaches gave him an offer. Definitely think he is worth it.

No offense intended ... to me, it seemed like the players were in slow motion. Wonder how this kid would stand up against better players.
Never really looked at the players around him, just focused on his footwork and mechanics. Would have to see him in person but it looks like he can really throw it, and has a very quick release, seemed to be pretty accurate as well. Stood tall in the pocket, rolled out well....hes had some good coaching somewhere along the line, you can really tell...but you cant teach his quick release and arm speed,....which he definitely has. IMO a better passer then Bubba ever was, passer not runner, although he seemed athletic enough to run well. This is based solely on videos, no first hand knowledge, so dont try saying i know him. I usually have a good eye for talent however chuckleshuffle Would like to see him as a senior, impressive for a junior imo, no matter who hes playing against, seems to have the tools necessary ...at first glance.

Ryker is the type of overlooked(well maybe the please walkon card is played) that Frank the Tank swoops in and convinces to come play at Ohio. See Noah Keller, who has been a flat out stud for the Bobcats, and potentially Darius Vick and Jon Letchner.

Here's a little, and I emphasize the little, bit of video of him against Kearney this year. He has a little bit of a side arm release, but it is quick. I really like how well he moves in the pocket.

I want us to pick up a quarterback that can make the throws and runs only when he has to (Ganz or Zac Taylor). Ganz would be putting up monster numbers with the offensive weapons on this team. I think this kid fits that mold.
