This topic was discussed at length on another board before the Wisconsin game. The helmet was an old helmet that the scout team painted black to emulate Texas Tech during practice a few years back. There is absolutely no truth to the rumor that we are going to switch to black helmets.

I think the black helmet is ugly. I like the subtle change on the helmets below. Black face mask.

OMFG, this is, like sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fake. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw the equipment manager make this fake helmet at 31 Flavors last night.

I guess it's pretty fake.

Not saying that I think this is real, because I fully believe it to be fake, but its not the helmet that is Adidas but the visor. And Adidas does make visors.
