SecondedNegative rep is a bad idea. Nominate GSG5545 for that idea.

Yep give me the Huskerpedia refugees over the schools out for summer crowd
That's pretty close to the background.ok thanks, i noticed -1 next to a few reputations, was there once a time you could give someone a - rep?I don't understand the fascination with HuskerJen. Clearly (s)he frequented different forums on HuskerBoard than I.
Some background:
HuskerJen's "Introduce Yourself" post. LINK
There was some squabble over a picture HuskerJen posted of themselves in THIS THREAD
Somewhere along the line things turned sour after she posted the pic of herself, as you can see in THIS THREAD
After this, more stuff popped up that seemed to definitively point to HuskerJen being a guy. I don't know what it was and I can't find it, so if anyone remembers the thread(s) then maybe they can help out. But in general it seems like this person went from a reasonably normal poster to tremendously creepy. They ended up getting banned after engaging in several arguments across the board with several members. I don't think I was a Mod then, so I don't know the particulars of it.
AR, you can't deny, that whole debacle made for an entertaining few days...That's pretty close to the background.
HuskerJen arrived on the scene and claimed to be a woman who knew football as well as any guy. "She" made some posts that were pretty insightful in that regard, but couldn't seem to do it without acting like a d!(k (pun intended). Along the way, "she" also threw out a few posts describing herself - enough that some members wanted to see some pics. "She" posted a few cartoon-type pics. Then, one day, "she" posted a pic in which "she" claimed was really "her". Well, wadda know? It was a guy in drag. And let's just say that he couldn't pull it off - heavy 5 o'clock shadow, bit of a gut, man-hands, etc. And wearing a black cocktail dress (no pun intended there - that's what "she" was wearing, with a string of pearls, if I recall correctly...man, this is getting weird). Whomever the guy was, he must have pretty quickly decided that posting his pic was NOT a good idea, and replaced it with a pic of an attractive female (real female) dressed and posed similar to the original pic. Oh, and I should add that along with the pic "she" typed something that made it pretty evident that the original pic really was HuskerJen, and "she" was a he that liked to cross-dress. Don't remember what he typed, though.
Well, not many members saw the real pic, but a few did. Honestly, while there was a bit of a dust-up from it, it wasn't bad by any means, and HuskerJen went about "her" business as if "she" had never posted the original. No big deal - but thereafter "she" couldn't seem to post ANYTHING without making a personal attack. So, I banned "her".
And that, as they say, is the rest of the story.
You seem to have a very detailed memory of this picture. How much did it cost to blow it up to poster size and hang it above your bed? That's pretty close to the background.ok thanks, i noticed -1 next to a few reputations, was there once a time you could give someone a - rep?I don't understand the fascination with HuskerJen. Yeah. It was also entertaining that several posters would sort of flirt with HuskerJen. Before they found out she was a guy, that is. :lol:AR, you can't deny, that whole debacle made for an entertaining few days...That's pretty close to the background.
