2012 schedule W/L

I too don't get why so many put Michigan as some mid-70s Steel Curtain.

Even last year with lady luck fully camped on their back MSU beat them. So did Iowa. Also, they play at our house this year. "Small chance this year"?? I don't think so. At all.

Stating it was a "miracle" we beat the Buckeyes last year is pure BS as our offense simply steam-rolled them the whole 2nd half and could have easily scored again if we were inclined. Sobbing & moaning about their qb's injury had zero to do with Tmart & SRex tearing them apart. We might run over their elite defense this year too.

I'm with Hunter on this one as I think MSU & OSU on the road will both be much tougher than Michigan at Lincoln.

If we follow your worst case scenario - I think we lose to Iowa as well and go 7-5 . if we lose 4 of our first 5 conference games...this team is going to be demoralized. I see us going 8-4, but not starting out 1-4 in conf play. A loss to UCLA/S.Miss is my 4th.

If our defensive line improves at all we almost can't lose to Iowa - presuming we come to play, and don't have another brain-fart game. Vandenberg will be mincemeat again to this D Line. He'll be facing basically the same line he faced last year, with another year of experience, without his top RB and WR from last season, not to mention two OL starters. We only sacked him once, but he was under duress throughout the game.

I see another sub .500 passing game for Vandenberg, at least one pick, and a long night in the jacuzzi afterwards.

I see us going 10-2 or 9-3, but I guess I really don't see why some people think we will lose to Southern Miss. I see that as a win, not the easiest win of the season, but a win none-the-less.

For crying out loud! We aren't going to lose any freaking football games!

14-0

56-10 over Purdue in B10 CCG.

28-22 over USC in Actual national Championship Game ( I'll leave you guys to debate the mythical one.)

Additionally I invite you all down to join me this afternoon as I'll be visiting Kool Aid days in Hastings. Today is the last day!

That's right Purdue Mr. Carell! When everybody assumes Wisconsin has won the division already it gives a scrappy under the radar team like Purdue the opportunity. Purdue plays Wiscy at home. They win that game the division is up for grabs.

I could certainly see that happening. Of course, my worse case scenario isn't including a major injury or an '07 collapse. If that happened, unless the D really comes back on strong, we could be 6-6 with additional losses to Iowa and either NW or UCLA.

You're right, 40k+ fans will really make a difference.

See there are little complexities about the Big Ten, for every power there's a small team that has its number. For Wisconsin it's been Northwestern, Purdue beats OSU. We roll Purdue in 2012. 202-71 combined score last six meetings.
