trap game?

Were picked by 5.5 by Vegas, according to them we are closely matched and it's supposed to be a battle. If our D doesn't step up we could end up not liking the game very much.. I guess its only a trap game for us Koolaid drinkers.

The time zone excuse is not lame because it is a prime time game. You can only adjust practice schedules so much to offset it but when the game ends it will feel like 1:30~2:00 in the morning to our guys. That is a big deal.
It's the exact same time as a 6:30 kickoff in Lincoln.

This isn't a trap game. There are too many reasons for the players to be excited.
I think it's easy to get overexcited, too. I can see the arguments for this being a trap game. Nobody knew how Taylor and the offense would come out this year. They were burning questions. After all the praise they have to feel like they've already come out and proven it. This is a very exciting game, for sure. Bo has to keep the reins on this squad and keep that ship steady.

They must feel like they are on top of the world right now. Maybe they will steamroll UCLA, or maybe there will be some bad breaks and will have to deal with some serious adversity. If they do get knocked in the mouth early, how will they respond? When you are riding high there is always the danger of coming down to earth.

it's 6:30 Pacific Time, but with the sunlight it would be no different than a 6:30 kickoff here, but that's 8:30 time wise here, so that's no different then ending around 11:30, and it will be lighter out there as well, so it wouldn't feel like 1 or 2 in the morning.

A three hour game will end at 9:30 central time. The time difference won't be a factor.

It's at 4:30 Pacific. 6:30 central. You dodged a bullet. You almost missed over half of the game :)

Its a 4:30 pacific time kick off... so, as Red Denver said, its no different than a 6:30 kickoff in Nebraska (Central Time = 2:00 ahead of Pacific Time).

PS: Posted that as others were posting the same. Sorry for the repeat!

Right. So the game kicks off at 6:30 Central Time, and 4:30 Pacific. But what if you're in a Mountain Time Zone?
