Several current Husker wrestlers and recruits are competing for a chance to wrestle in the World Freestyle Championships. This spring began the process. The winners this spring at the US Open will sit out the Challenge round and wrestle the winner of the Challenge round.

With Ridge Lovett coming back he would not start. A decent 125 lber Troy Spratley from U of Minnesota is in the portal. I wonder how satisfied the staff is with Jacob Van Dee at 125 lbs. Incoming frosh Alan Kohler should redshirt.
Blake is a redshirt frosh who came in as a 125 lber. He is up to 141 lbs. but wrestled at 149 lbs. in the dual the other night. He won and looked composed. It was good to see him get a start and win his first dual.
